Alright folks, today’s the first day of the Summer Food Photo Contest! Summer’s finally here and aside from the sun and beach, I love the food! BBQs, outtings, patio parties, I love them all!

Here’s your chance to show off your photography skills (and possibly cooking skills) for your chance to win a gift certificate good towards any photo session by Navy Nhum Photography! And this time voters can win too!

1st Prize: $$250 gift certificate

2nd Prize: $150 gift certificate

3rd Prize: $100 gift certificate

Bonus Voter Prizes: (3) $50 gift certificate

Here’s a quick overview of how the contest works:

  • Submit a photo of your favorite summer food by posting it on the wall of the Navy Nhum Photography Facebook page or emailing it to info@navynhum.com and include your full name and city. Feel free to share the recipe if you’d like but it’s not mandatory.
  • All images will be put into an album on the Navy Nhum Photography Fan Page on Facebook where voting will occur.
  • Invite your friends and family to take part by joining the page and voting.
  • A panel of 3 judges will choose the winners based on the photo itself AND take into consideration the number of votes an image has received. So votes will count!
  • Photos will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes. All voters will then be entered into a draw and 3 will be chosen at random to win the bonus voter prizes.
  • Contest open from June 1 to June 29 2010.
