Meet Alecia & Deen. I’ll be shooting their wedding this year and although I usually do an engagement shoot, we switched it up this time and did a maternity shoot instead. They came into the studio during the Fling into Spring Portrait session and I’ve never seen such a gorgeous pregnant woman! It must have been that pregnancy glow they talk about! Even though this was their first photoshoot, they were pros. They were so relaxed and easy going that it made my job feel like we were just hanging around taking photos. A really sweet couple! Congratulations to them on their engagement and their new family addition! Stay tuned for Part II with wedding festivities and a special appearance by Baby :)

This was a wedding I couldn’t wait to shoot! As you may recall, Lisa & Nate were my amazing couple who looked so fabulous at their engagement session I felt like I was shooting an editorial. This was a wedding I couldn’t wait to shoot! As you may recall, Lisa & Nate were my amazing couple who looked so fabulous at their engagement session I felt like I was shooting an editorial. Click here and see for yourself! As for their wedding, what a beautiful day! The weather was perfect in the quaint little town of Kleinburg and we found an awesome candy store to shoot in. Thanks to BonBons & Brittle for letting us temporarily take over their store and hooking us up with that giant lollipop! If you have a sweet tooth and want to drop $50 on candy, go get the Whirly Pop lollipop!

These two are too cute, he makes his own jams and she makes her own wedding cake. How awesome is that? It was so great to see them so happy! I loved shooting them! And maybe it’s because they watch America’s Next Top Model but seriously, they got that “smize” thing down haha. Such a beautiful couple but you don’t need me to tell you that after you see their photos :). I had such a great time photographing their wedding and am so happy they chose me to document such an important day in their lives. Congratulations Lisa & Nate! All the best to you guys!

Good news: My friends Nancy & Brendan are getting married this summer! :)
Bad news: I can’t make it to the wedding because I was already booked to shoot another :(
Extra bad news: I can’t make it to the stag and doe tomorrow either because of the Fling into Spring Photo Shoot

Great news!: We had some time to hang out and do a shoot last weekend in Toronto. I’ve been to the graffiti alley in Toronto a few times and each time it gets sketchier. I was extremely happy to have Brendan there because interesting characters seem to show up along that stretch of concrete and art. First we were pursued by a homeless man for change and then two teenagers showed up in the alley with a 12pack and watched us. Looking back, I think I should have taken up their offer to be extras for the shoot as I think it could have made some interesting photos. Either way, if you decide to venture down there you should go with a friend. Besides, the area is so cool you’ll probably want to discuss the amazing art with someone :)

Anyway, we had a great time getting some fun shots, some random and some a little more engagementy (that’s definitely not a word). For a guy who’s from Timmins and a girl who’s from Sudbury, I don’t think they ever saw anything like this up that way :). Although I am jealous of the Shania factor…and the giant nickle…well I guess that’s something worth doing a jumping shot infront of :)  Enjoy the photos! Leave a comment and let me knowhat you think!
