Janna + Aaron | Drive-in York Region Engagement

September 21st, 2012

Being the fun creative couple they are, they decided that since they couldn’t go to the drive-in, they would bring the drive-in to them. When they told me their idea I was pretty excited but the cool factor went up about 10 notches when I got there to see the classic cars, bottled root beer [...]

Being the fun creative couple they are, they decided that since they couldn’t go to the drive-in, they would bring the drive-in to them. When they told me their idea I was pretty excited but the cool factor went up about 10 notches when I got there to see the classic cars, bottled root beer (I’ve never seen this stuff before so I got excited), the old school projector and wait for it….an original Indiana Jones behind the scenes film! Amazing right?! I love how fun and creative they were with everything and I CANNOT WAIT to photograph their wedding!

These two crazy kids are getting married tomorrow! I can only image the detail they put into that. It’s going to be a good day tomorrow! Congrats guys!

Anna-Marie + Arthur | Distillery District Wedding | Toronto Wedding

September 15th, 2012

Arthur is probably one of the most upbeat grooms, if not people, I’ve ever met. You can’t help but want to be in on the joke with him and Anna-Marie is so easy going, i’s not wonder they’re so great together. I remember having some good laughs at this wedding and when you’re having that much [...]

You can’t help but want to be in on the joke with him and Anna-Marie is so easy going, i’s not wonder they’re so great together. I remember having some good laughs at this wedding and when you’re having that much fun, it’s not work. I’m always grateful for days like these and so far I’ve been extremely lucky to have had so many of them. Thank you Anna-Marie and Arthur for the laughs, tasty cake and letting me be a part of your wedding day!  :) Congrats!

P.S. Our photobooth photo is pretty awesome :)

Maria + Travis | Madsen’s Greenhouse | Newmarket Wedding

A beautiful garden ceremony followed by a warm and intimate reception made for a perfect summer wedding.  I think Maria and Travis’ wedding would best be described as classic comfortable elegance.  Just look at Maria in that dress with those eyes and facial features, such a classic beauty. I love it. From her handmade gown to her red kicks, the girl knows what she’s doing. It’s bad enough you’re in a tight dress all day, why put your feet through it too?   This was a nice relaxed wedding and Maria and Travis were so great, it was a real pleasure photographing their wedding. I’d also like to mention how awesome it was that Travis’ parents were totally down for a ‘Vanity Fair’ family photo (see below). Who says family photos can’t be totally badass?  The cars were pretty cool too but I’d say they were just a bonus. Maria and Travis fill the frame quite nicely on their own :)

Congratulations Maria & Travis, I wish you both all the best!
