Inspired by one of my favourite movies, I decided to do this shoot on what seemed to be one of the coldest days of the year haha. If you haven’t seen the film Into the Wild you should. It’s heavy, sad, interesting and has just enough humour so you don’t get totally depressed. Adapted from a book that was based on true events, Into the Wild is one of the few instances where the movie is better than the book. My favourite quote from the film: “Happiness only real when shared”

A few weeks ago I posted a photo of Icon model Jordan Ross looking all Ashton Kutcher. That was part of an editorial I did showcasing clothing by new designer Jennifer Lau. I was going to post the entire set on here but the piece has recently  been featured on The Fashionisto so you can now check it out there and read some other great stuff too! It’s a pretty awesome blog with daily updates on mens fashion from runway to print. I love it for the editorials and new work of various photographers and designers. Some inspiring stuff that sometimes make me go”Damn, I wish I took that!”

Last weekend was soooo busy. I had 5 shoots running 4 days straight with some of them going 3hrs+. Phewww that’s a lot of shooting! I’ve been trying to find time to post on here but haven’t had a chance yet. Plus I’d like to have the image done as part of a set :) [...]

Last weekend was soooo busy. I had 5 shoots running 4 days straight with some of them going 3hrs+. Phewww that’s a lot of shooting! I’ve been trying to find time to post on here but haven’t had a chance yet. Plus I’d like to have the image done as part of a set :) However, I like this photo so much I couldn’t wait! This was shot as part of a editorial for new fashion designer Jennifer Lau. Jennifer contacted me about doing a shoot and when I saw the clothes, I already knew where I was going to do it. I’m looking forward to seeing more work from her soon!

Check out the first photo of the set! The rest will be coming shortly! And in keeping with my photographing of celebrity look-alikes, (first I had Nolan who resembled Nicholas Brendon), here I have model Jordan Ross who in this shot has an uncanning resemblance to Ashton Kutcher. Yes? No? Maybe? Let me know your thoughts!
